Snip, Snap, Sew.

This is my pin cushion…
made in my fabulous new sewing class.

And because I know you need to see the back…

Tomorrow I make NAPKINS.

This is more thrilling than you can know.

(and more than I have time for, but that hasn’t stopped me thus far)

These are the winners of my two lovely giveaways
which I promised I’d finally share.

I’m loving the flower and bluebird,
but if I actually won,
I might get one of the owls on a whim. :-)

Congratulations FringeGirl!
You can now pick out a lovely new piece of art for your home <3

Okay. Now that we’ve had that bit of happiness,
I shall commence with telling you:
that I love you,
I hope your day is sparkly,
and that creating makes me happy as a lark.
Can you tell?
I feel better when I make things.

Even if it takes all my time and I just kind of stop sleeping.

Ahem.

but little instruction is given to protecting and allowing the seed of creativity to grow.”

Sometimes I feel swear I can feel the world slow down around me
while I sew a pincushion.

Giveaway winners were chosen via Random.org
and I was not compensated to list, or host said giveaways
in any other way than reviewing product provided
by each prospective company.
Duh.

i love your productivity

Wolf has a hard time relaxing, sometimes.

Sometimes.

He usually either spends the weekends working
or doing remodeling projects.

Today I convinced him that the most important thing in the universe
was for him to take a nap:)

So he watched Robinson Crusoe with me
and then fell asleep for three hours…..

When he woke up he fell into a flurry of activity
hanging sheetrock and making me a present:

The paint is still wet but I am madly in love.

(This is apparently the weekend of ROCKIN’ handmade presents:D)

crafty presents = happiness

My darling friend Heather came to visit today.
She brought us crafty presents of crocheted goodness.
I am happy as a lark.

(I need to learn to knit.
I need to figure out how to crochet.

I can feel an Etsy moment coming on……

but first I have cuddling to do.)
