We woke up to wintery chill and foamy-white skies
that promised a healthy helping of marshmellow fluff.
We were not disappointed.

And now we are driving into the snow.
A vortex of ice crystals
whirling and twirling
dancing
past us.
She says that after three years of snow
it isn’t as magical anymore.
More like a thousand years of winter
and no Christmas.
And while I realize that Southern snow
is not the same thing as Northern snow….
STILL,
…………………………….today is Narnia.

"May the love of
our Lord be with
you. Now and always
may you stay blameless
'till He comes."
Great pictures. I hope the kids enjoyed the snow.
It’s so… brilliant… when you can find the magic in snow.
Beautiful. We just moved to Colorado and my little people are in *love* with the snow.
I love the posy headband in the last photo. So sweet !
That headband is from Lou and Lee…..whom I love love love. Etsy shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/louandlee
So lovely! And Sara Sophia, do you own a pony??
Steph
Guess what I discovered yesterday? Southern snow IS different. It’s slushy enough to be PERFECT snow man and snow ball snow. It’s not cold outside like up north, so you actually have fun playing in it. And it melts away soon so you don’t actually have to “live” with it.
I love it.
I feel a post coming on…
I love you.
You inspired a lot of posts around here:)
As iron sharpens iron and all…….
Today is Narnia, I love.
My daughter is enchanted. She’s never really seen snow
South Texas, we have sand and salt and beach.. not so much snow.
*sigh*
Gorgeous pictures.
We have the same thing here–with the unfamiliar magic of a white world:) My middle son was so enthralled with the dust that powdered us
LAST February (or was in January?), that he spent all the holidays praying for snow:) I am so thankful his little prayer was answered<3
And FYI, your pretty pretty comments made my day…..
I love those who are unafraid to skip barefoot in fountains.
You are a most assuredly a soul-sister:)
Sara Sophia
Gorgeous pictures. What a fun day!
Okay girly snow clothes might make me fall over and die they are so cute. I love your photojournalistic style
That snowman is classic. And I love all of these photos. I hope you didn’t run into the White Witch while in Narnia…
