Eco Lovely Guide–
Christina P Designs

January 27th, 2010 § 1

What could be more perfect for Valentines Day
than gorgeously simple eco-friendly jewelry?
(I don’t think I’ve taken off the above-pictured circle ring since it arrived:)

I am so happy to be able to introduce Christina P Designs to you.
Christina P was included in our Eco-Lovely Guide
as a marvelous place to find planet-conscious jewelry.
Although her practices in conservation are not listed on her site,
Christina messaged me with the ways she has endeavored to “green” up her craft:

1. I only use earth friendly packaging,
like kraft boxes which are 100% recylced.
I use recycled filling materials, and recycled shredded paper.
2. I reuse all of my boxes from my suppliers for orders,
or I bring it to the recycling center.
3. I save and reuse all metal scraps
or send it to the refiners for future use.
4. I use only baking soda and vinegar in my studio for cleaning.
5. I purchase my stones from only conflict free suppliers.
6. I use self-pickling flux,
so the need for an acid-pickle is significantly decreased.
(Technical jeweler talk, there:)

I am so proud to be able to share this lovely spot for a gift
that will neither harm your wallet nor the environment.
Christina’s everyday adorable earrings and her silver stacking rings
are both under thirty dollars.

Wouldn’t they be darling tokens of your affection?
(or of someones affection to you?)

Please visit Christina P Designs on Etsy
and see if you can find that one perfect piece of jewelry.

Disclaimer:
I was in no way compensated
to say that I liked this jewelry.
It is my honest opinion that it is awesome<3

(I apologize for the tardiness of the Eco-Lovely Guide posts you will be seeing over the next few days. But fret not, there is always the occasion for a gift, no? Always a reason to celebrate—Valentines Day is around the corner. If you are in the market for a splendid “green” gift, look no further than right here<3)
